Three Times a Bridesmaid Twice Over...

My two good friends Ali and Jordan got married and I was honored to be one of Ali's bridesmaids. The funny thing is that I have officially exceeded the saying "Three times a bridesmaid, never a bride"...but who believes in those things anyways? But I must say that I totally caught the boquet fair and square and so we all know what that means! And, yes, I am a little superstitious, so I actually believe it is true. I mean it must be true considering what happened at Krissi's wedding when we totally staged the boquet toss to land directly into my hands and out of the blue I was ambushed by two seven year-olds who took all the glory from me (but Ali got married next so I obviously wasn't supposed to catch it). I was worried that that meant the seven year-olds would see marriage before me, but not now. Anyways....Ali's wedding was so beautiful and she looked lovely. It is just a good feeling to see one of my girls so happy. And as all girls, we have talked about our wedding day pretty much since we could talk and so it's fun to see that things have turned out even better than all our imaginations could have ever dreamed. It was a good day.

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
