A little exciting news
Well I went to California last week for some interviews and I got offered an awesome job that starts out in Oncology (the cancer unit) and then changes over to Labor and Delivery in September if I choose to do so. I am pretty excited (okay, an understatement, way excited). It just seemed so crazy to be there and actually have all my planning work out. I am leaving July 2nd if everything goes well with passing the state nursing boards...so please cross your fingers big time for me! I will be living for the first little bit in San Clamente with a family friend until I find a roommate closer to work. It is such a beautiful little quaint town and I feel like I am going to enjoy every second of it there. I will be sure to keep you posted on what's going on and I fully expect to be receiving a phone call from any of you that come to the area. I will be wanting to see lots of familiar faces.

WAY TO GO! I am so thrilled that you are doing this, you're actually doing this! You have worked so hard and your dreams are soon to be your reality. I know you will pass your boards with flying colors! Good Luck!

Katie-I am so happy for you!! You are amazing and of course they would want you to work there. YOu will be such a comfort to those patients. And believe me, nurses that care are important! I love you so much and will miss you tons...
I love the song "dream big". You can do anything you put your mind to...i'm convinced of that. i'm so proud of you and know you are going to be a "little surfer girl" (love the beach boys). I can't wait to hear all about your new adventures.
Congratulations Katie- wow! I am so jealous- I love California. What a fun a time- I'm sure you will have :-) Best of luck on your boards- I just took my Real Estate Test yesterday- after endless studying- and thankfully passed. (All the preparation is though but worth it) I will definitely keep you in my prayers- You will do great!
