First of all, any credit for the cuteness of my page is owed to Lara. This creative beauty was all her. Yes,she is so amazing and i love this page if I may say so. So my sister-in-law Sarah tagged me so I thought I would write about my favorite things of this past week. Let's be honest, I just love the holidays and so all of these are like my favorite things to do every day (spoken best by Nacho), but I thought it would be fun.
#1 Waking up in the morning to Jack and Gracie watching me sleep. It was quite funny and I loved hearing them say my name all excited when I came home. I also loved cuddling with them and dancing to christmas music by the tree with them...the dancing mostly consisted of spinning in circles, but I am pretty good at that move, so I was okay with it. #2 Visiting with friends...lunch with the girls, bowling (and losing like usual), stories of kim's worst date ever (kim, you need to start screeing a little better my friend), and dancing in the park to Enrique Iglesias. #3 Feast, feast, feast! I loved dinner and most of all mom's mud pie. That's my favorite. It was fun listening to dad, uncle scott, and grandpa singing and playing on the guitar. And thank heavens for Mac because we were able to talk and see matt in spain. He is doing great. #4 Endless movies at the holidays....we always see a million movies on any given holiday and so we went to the movies 2 times and watched some of the christmas classics at home every day. Enchanted was amazing and heartwarming...I love the soundtrack and I have got to get that beauty...it was funny because when the princess would sing in the movie, Gracie would sing back out loud to the princess. The favorite of us girls is Miracle on 34th St. and I love watching Christmas Vacation because my Dad is Clark Griswolds long lost twin. I also LOVE the Grinch. He is my hero...so many good one-liners....shout out to Sarah who loves him like I only thought I could. #5 Shopping on Black Friday! It's a holiday in itself. It's always been a tradition with Lara and I since I can remember, and this year it was so fun to have Sarah and Mom join us. We all had too much fun dancing to Mariah Carrey Christmas (my favorite) in Forever 21 and getting the best steals at Old Navy. I love being a girl! It's so fun to have sisters that are as crazy as me. And it was so fun to stay up late talking withLara like old times. I also loved shopping with my Grandma Salmon. I think she is the most stylish grandma out there. She will call and tell me "Hey Katie, Red is in this year. We'd better get to the mall and find some new shoes in red." I love it! and we have so much fun together. It's my favorite thing to do with my Grandma.#6 Cookie Day! Since I won't be home to decorate cookies at my Grandma Salmon's-which by the way, I have never missed in all my years-so my mom made cookies for the kids and we decorated our little hearts out. My favorite was the ant hill of sprinkles on Gracies cookies. Thanks Mom! I think I had just as much fun as the kiddies and I will never grow out of my traditions. Yes Matthew, I will miss you sleeping in my room this christmas after the much coercing it usually takes (I know deep down you always hope I'll ask). I also love decorating the tree with mom and Lara. And going to see Temple Lights with the fam...it's just not christmas without them. #7 Jake's amazing songs on the guitar. I am so proud of him and he is so good. He sang us his new hits and I was really feeling it. And P.S. I am not sorry for my brag time because I am just so proud. Lara has her own line of scrapbook paper for those who didn't know. London picked it up and it's selling on QVC and it's in our very own scrapbook store on Lindsay and University. So talented huh? It was so much fun to go home and
I never wanted to leave. Lets just say...Bring on Christmas! I can't w
ait to get back.

It's so great you had such a fun time with the family! Reading your post makes me miss my family so much! I loved all of our traditions, we always had the greatest time doing things together. We need to get some traditions going on the Miner side of the family!! You look beautiful as always and I hope you are really enjoying California! We'll be there for Christmas so we'll have to make time to see each other, you'll have to show me some of your favorite hot spots!
