So we have officially been enjoying every aspect of christmas this season. Well Angie and I both came back from Thanksgiving and we decided to change things up and so we are both moving to Utah! We are pretty excited and it completely came out of the blue. So we only had about 3 short weeks to put our house on the market, quit our jobs, and plan another move back to Arizona before the big December 25 hits! It has been so amazing though because everything has completely fallen into place. The Lord is truly blessing us and we couldn't be happier. Of course with moving comes good-byes and that has not been easy. We love our ward here and I do love my job.
To pay tribute to the season we decided to decorate our place a little bit. As you can see we made a home-crafted tree (okay I made it, I won't blame it's ugliness on Angie...but she did cut out some of the bulbs) because of the move and it's not as cute as I had hoped. I do hope you enjoy my Grinch scrubs though.

The ward christmas party was so much fun. I think one of my favorite things about this ward is that we have the craziest dance parties and everyone joins in. I never thought I could find a group of people who would truly enjoy my great dance moves, oh, but they certainly do!
The other night our ward came to my unit at the hospital and sang carols to the kids. I loved it and I think they did too. I will tell you one thing...it was so hard to say good-bye to the wonderful nurses I worked with and my Chemo kids. It's amazing how much those kids have become apart of me.

This is Wii game night at our place. Yeah, I am so the worst at wii....but it was fun nonetheless.

This is my old roommate Amber. She is pretty much the glue that holds our ward together.
It sure is going to be hard to leave this place. I feel like I have grown so much and in ways I never knew I needed growing. The Lord really knows us individually and what we need to become better people. I know I needed to meet my roommate Angie. She has been such a good friend and she has helped me recognize the blessings in my life that sometimes get overlooked because of the craziness of life. California has been so good to me and it will always have a little piece of my heart. So it's time to pack up the U-haul again and on to a new adventure!

Katie I am so happy things are falling into place for you. I LOVE your homemade tree. You are so creative! I can't wait to see you!
Katie, I was a little sad that you chose Utah over AZ but after seeing that picture of you and Rhett, it looks like it will be good for you to be around people who uphold your own standards ;)
Honestly, the whole bottle...pace yourself.
Love you and can't wait to see you at home for a bit before you go. Merry Christmas!
Katie!
You are way too cute! I love the plants in your back yard. That's so great! I hope you continue being happy. That guy you're with is cute! Please tell me that you're not related b/c that would be really unfortunate for you! :) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
