vampire stole my heart

For Christmas I received the Twilight series....and life ever since has not been the same. I know the females who have read the books know the feeling, but I just have to say that I am officially doomed for a life of single-hood knowing that I will never find a god-like vampire out there for me. How does anyone come close to those expectations? To make my point more clear, the other night I was out with my friends and all I could think of was getting home to read. I just told them that I had a date with Edward Cullen and everyone seemed intrigued because they have not read the books yet. I am tempted to tell boys that come my way that I am dating Edward, because I really spend more time with him than any other boy out there. Yes, sad, but true. Sorry Prince Charming, but you've got nothin' on Edward Cullen. From now on I won't be out searching for my prince, but for my vampire. Just thought it was funny and I really thought I was stronger than the rest of the world who has fallen so hard for Edward...but I was wrong. He is, after all, a vampire.

So great...I love those books! I always would wonder if he were human what would he look like? Tough call.

Thanks for the complimenting comments on my bloggo! And thanks for linking me up to your blog. To answer your question, I am still studying political science as my major and am on the road to law school. But I love photography and plan to continue doing it as well.

Katie... my inlaws let me borrow them! I'm almost done with the first one :-) Last night as we were sitting down to dinner, my hubby said something mushy and sweet to me (I honestly can't remember what it was) but I looked at him and said, "Oh Hunny, that was so sweet...Have you been reading Twilight? Because I swear that sounded like something Edward would say." He just rolled his eyes, a little offended that I didn't give him credit for his heartfelt comment! Funny- I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about the books. Sometimes I think, "What the heck am I reading?" But then I willingly continue reading. Interesting...

Katie, so sad you moved to Utah and we never even got to play! How fun though that you get to be up there. Hope you're having a blast.

so I succomed to the peer pressure and am reading Twilight. I grabed it in the airport so I wouldn't be bored on our trip to Boston and I am almost done with it. I should finish on the flight to Utah and then we can analyze this weekend!

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
