SUMO SALMONS

The other night our friends came over dressed in sumo suits and told us to come over to their apartment and have a sumo wrestling competition.  Syrell and I couldn't turn down an opportunity like that.
In the above picture is Syrell, Kirtis, Chris, and friend (sorry dude! I forgot your name).
Oh and I must point out my headband...I found a similar one online and decided to get creative and make one myself.  It is going to be perfect for winter cause it keeps my ears warm and its cute!  I'm all about making more of them now.
Syrell and I battled it out and it was HILARIOUS!  I mostly just laughed really hard the whole time and couldn't do anything.  The boys on the side were bouncers and held inner tubes so we wouldn't hit the walls.  I think they mostly had fun pushing Syrell and I into each other.
This is Syrell and me getting all suited up.

This is a picture of Syrell and Mackenzie.  Mackenzie is Syrell's friend from home that came to visit BYU to see if she wants to transfer here in the winter.  It was such a fun weekend and I am glad she made the right decision to join us in P-Town...despite the cold temperatures.

Cute headband! You'll have to email me and tell me what you did! Your date looks fun too!

Oh, I wish I could have seen that fight. I hope you were using lines like "what are you doing up there??" and "Bonesaw is ready" but then again this is sumo and not wwf. I do love the headband, it is very attractive :)

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
