date night!

On Saturday night I went on the most fabulous group date.  I met this boy in my ward named Bryce and found out he was mission buddies with my long-time friend Dane Bjorklund.  So Bryce and Dane set up this date and we had such a great time.  First we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Macaroni Grill (totally my fav) and then we went Goofy Golfing at the Boondocks.  And let me tell you, it was stinkin fun because for once in my life, my ball stayed on the course the whole time.  Dane's wife, Mallory (who I instantly loved), and I were totally on our best game.

Surprisingly, three of us got a "hole in 1".  This WAS a big night for me.  Afterwards the losing team had to buy the winning team ice cream at the yummiest ice-cream place called HELLO YOGURT.  Thanks Mal and Dane, the ice cream was sure tasty!  Next time me and Mal will have to take on the boys.

Afterwards we went back to Bryce's apartment and played Mario Kart and Guitar Hero on Wii.  I am such a fan and I think I may be adding it to my wish list.  This is Mal and I rocking on the bass and guitar...anything to keep the fans entertained!  Overall, it was such a fun date night and so good to see Dane and meet Mal.  Thanks Bryce! And thanks Mal for the pictures!

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
