Happy Birthday to Mom!

Last weekend our Dad flew all of us kids out to VA to surprise my mom for her big birthday!
She had no idea we were even coming! It was so much fun and I think my most favorite part was my dad trying to stall for us all to get there by taking my mom all over town. Good job Dad! We had a great time.
And here's a little ode to my mom. She is the most talented and amazing lady and I love so many things about her. She knows this, but one of my very most favorite qualities about her is how she cries when she laughs. It makes everyone laugh even harder. Thanks Mom for all your sacrifices for me over the years.

This is the Salm Fam home for anyone who has wondered our whereabouts since leaving AZ.

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
