A farmer's market with friendly hands that let us sample all the fruits before buying a bundle.
Nothing like dusting off the fruit on your jeans before biting into a delicious juicy peach.
"The Ole Country Store" where they sold the softest honey wheat Amish bread
and where the owner asked to know our names.
Common friends on the road who preferred riding with their
heads out the window just as I.
green hills, wooden fences and the air that smells of cat-tails, clovers, and ladybugs....
it brought memories of tree houses.
Saw a sweet widow in the town grave standing alone near a head stone.
the most delicious little diner/cafe in the quaint little town of Charlottesville.
There are no finer foods on the American menu than a hot dog, pickles, and french fries.
My mom is demonstrating it all so nicely.
a true Coke machine... nothing like popping the top of an "ice cold cherry Coke"
just like Mayberry
a rising musician playing in the town square (I had to creepily take this picture from a store window so I didn't scare him).
a cute pair of overalls that are only worn by the truest of farmers
dresses bought from a kind street vendor
simply stated: life is sweeter when the little things are enjoyed.

What parts did you go to? I see Charlottesville was on the list, home of Dave Matthews. Isn't the summer great back there, it has so many little quirks and quaint places. I love Virginia!
