Jake and Sarah's Wedding

Well Jake and Sarah are officially married. It was a really special day and everything went great...except for the intense heat that we can't escape from here. We sure love Sarah and she makes the perfect addition to our family in every way (did I mention she loves the Grinch-yeah, enough said). Jake is so happy and it was fun preparing for the wedding with him. He is a good brother and he kept trying to keep me included on everything because he knows my little heart won't take all this so easily. At church on Sunday he kept patting my leg like he was acknowledging that it was our last Sunday together. We have had a good time together the last 4 years being each other's wing man and side kick. He has helped me tone down the drama in life and to let it go...which is highly needed among the girl population. Jake just has such a big heart and I love that about him. So anyways.. The whole day before the wedding I kept singing "I'm gettin' married in the mornin'" And he liked that-besides the fact he'd never heard it before in his life. It was fun to go to their little apartment and set up their new things. I told them I will be a frequent flier there and so I'd better bring some stuff of mine over to make myself more at home. I know they love that....they will miss me. Here are some pictures of the day and sorry that a lot are of me, but these are the ones on my camera. Go look at Lara's page to see more pictures of everyone and more details of the whole day. She said it perfect. Lara and me at the reception Matt and Weston (Sarah's little bro)

You know I'm a sucker for weddings! It looked so beautiful and everyone looks so happy! Question- how did you get that picture at the top of your blog? I love that! And yes, that picture of you and Robbie does look like an engagement photo- are you trying to tell us something? haha

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
