The Latest
So things in Cali have been very interesting to say the least. I absolutely love the friends I have made here and they make living here all the while. And in the short time I have been here, I have been told to "chill out" more than ever before. It's pretty funny. Well my job kinda went up in flames and I am trying to figure out my next move. I have been looking every day on the Internet for new openings but to no avail. Yes, I have even applied back at home for some jobs so we will see what presents itself. I don't want to do anything irrational or anything, so I am taking my time to figure it all out. Thanks to all those of you who have heard my ventings lately...I truly appreciate it. I am not gonna lie, things have been a little bit less than easy. Things didn't quite turn out the way I planned, but I know they will all work out okay. The comforting thing I do know is that the Lord has a plan and it's a really good one...so I am going to be just fine (believe me, I didn't always think things would be fine). It sure is neat to see the way the Lord works in our lives. I will keep you posted and if you see me in AZ soon...please be sure to give me a big hug...I am gonna need one! But life is good and I am in California...what more can I say? Oh, and exciting news!!!! After many many times of begging to my parents, they finally are taking me to Italy!! Matthew is going to study abroad at the end of this month in Spain and so my parents and I are going to go visit him for a week and then go over to Italy with him on his break. I can't wait! We are going September 20...I am a happy happy girl. Thanks mom and dad!

Just checking up on you to see how you are doing. :o) I am sorry things got hard, but that will make the results so much more beautiful and exciting!!! You are a great girl. I know that, and I've only spent a few random evenings with you and Lara. Good luck!

Somehow I ended up on your blog. I started by reading a blog of a friend I grew up with and I guess yours was connected to it somehow through other people. Anyway, I thought I'd tell you that I finally broke away from work and ended up coming down to Arizona this last weekend and it looks like you've taken off to California already. You might not remember me, but my brothers Dave and Craig Perkins were intent on setting us up! Anyway, I read your blog and it looks like you have alot of irons in the fire - good luck with everything. Maybe we'll cross paths some other time.

It's Shana Bawden (now Wilson). You are so adorable. I just started a blog and it's so fun to see all the people that have one. You'll have to see mine. Last time I saw you I was pregnant... now I have a 19 lbs. baby. He is so cute. I am biased but that's okay. You know, everything is going to be just fine. In the eternal perspective of things this is just a blink. Just remember that your Father loves you. He knows your concerns and he never forgets about them. You are too special. Hope everything works out with your job. You deserve it.
