A little bit of Arizona in California

Matt, Brock and Malia came to visit me one weekend and we had the best time. It was like an all out brother-sister weekend. The weekend was quite fun. We went to the beach and burned to a crisp, played some good frisbee where Brock nearly killed 5 people by running into them full speed after the frisbee, ate out and had pizzookie (the new oreo cookie one is my fav...but that is to be expected), and visited the temple. It was so fun to be with Matt and see him before his adventure to Spain. We had so much fun bumming around and it was so nice to see them again. It was like they brought a little bit of home to Cali. Good luck Daddles!!

Kim and Kelci were my next visitors. This picture is of us at Fred's Mexican Restaurant that overlooks the Peer. Even though their trip was short, I took them to all the fine dining in Cali and we ate our hearts out. Not to mention soaking up lots of beach time. I have missed my girls and ladies, the door is always open!
Jason and Brenner were very fun additions to the summer. The two have been frequent fliers here. We had some crazy frisbee tournaments, saw Harry Potter, ate Sushi (of which I had nothing to do with), went swimming, and much more. The Jarvis's have been wonderful to me this summer and have made things all the better. It was nice to get to hang around them so much. All in all, I think the 3 of us decided that bumming on the beach for the rest of our lives is sounding promising, especially if Brenner's Otter Pop sales hit big.

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
