all over cali

So I know I owe one huge, fat post and so here it is. I have many more pictures that I still need to take to document my adventure, but this will have to paint the picture. I know my last entry was a little concerning but I am now settled in a new place with the best roommate from Utah named Angie. We get along so well and laugh most of the time together. I will take pictures of our place when it is presentable. Things are so much better and I absolutely love my job as a pediatric nurse. I think I found my niche in the hospital and I love it more than I thought I could love a job. The children have so much love to give and it makes my job so rewarding. I feel so lucky and blessed. I will share stories later.

In the last 2 months I have lived 3 places. The picture is of the pier in San Clamente and I loved it there with Mary Jo. It is a sleepy beach town and so peaceful. This was taken during one of our evening walks on the beach.

These lovely ladies are Tamra and Rachel. They are so much fun. Tamra's family has kinda taken me in and their house is the home for those who don't have a family nearby. I usually end up there for Sunday dinners. I love it!

Aaron, Tam and Me out to dinner. We had a little too much fun with the pictures. Aaron is a fellow Harry Potter fan. He is truly devoted to the cause. Tam is a pilates instructor and I could use some of that T.L.C.

This was 80's skate night with the ward. It was so fun because there were so many people. This is me and Anne and the other is of Rhett, Will and I. Aren't I lucky? The cool thing is that there are so many things going on and everyone gets into it. At dances there are hardly any wall flowers. And I have finally fully unleashed my dance moves that may have better served their purpose in my closet. But life is good. I have met lots of great people and am meeting more everyday.

Oh, it's so good to see you in person (kind of)...your getting more beautiful every time I see you (some of grandma and grandpa is wearing off on me!) looks like you've made some good friends, like I knew you would. love you and miss you.

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
