V-day, 80's, and Enrique Iglesias

You know you're officially from the 80's when your sleeves are bigger than your head, your hair is a fire hazzard and your make-up looks like it would be even too over the top for the circus. So for V-Day I went with some friends to an 80's prom. It was hilarious and we went all out. My date was Cory and the other boys (Jared and Brian) are good friends from our ward. There were some crazy dance moves thrown down at the party. The girls I just met that night but it was love at first meeting. They were so fun. Where did I find that dress, you may ask....nowhere other than D.I. Oh and I hope you enjoy the D.J. Tanner bangs I had goin on.

Earlier that night we had a ward party in our club house and it was a "Crush" party. See, the Sunday before at ward prayer we had everyone write a message to a crush they had in the ward. Then on Wednesday night we went and delivered them to everyone with Ring Pops so the next day people would be motivated to come to the ward party and meet their crushes. It was quite hilarious, I thought. I am on the activities committee so I had a lot of fun writing a ton of crush notes to everyone. One can say I got a little carried away. But the picture below is of me and my friend Dallin. Yeah, I look like a boy in this picture. You'd think for a girl who's single, I should dress a little daintier on V-day. Next year....

Then later on this week, we were inspired to put on our very own music video...no we're not too old for things like that...and we called Brock to come star in it. Our video is to the Enrique "Ping Pong Song". I think it may just make MTV's top 5.
