Lake trips and missions....

Okay so Kim Shill...ehm....Sister Shill was called on a mission and I had the priviledge of flying to Arizona for the weekend to visit for her farewell.  For those of you who may not know...Kim and I LOVE going to the lake.  I honestly think the first time I ever went was with Brother Shill and I can attribute getting up on water skis to him.  So we decided that we had to go out with a bang before Kim left.  We made the whole day an adventure.  We enjoyed the lake and all it's finest.  Our little bros Caleb and Matt came with us and it was so much fun!
Tubing is quite an art and only those who are highly skilled should ride.

I hope many of you can agree that a lake trip is no lake trip without Tim McGraw and Twizzlers...So this is me overjoyed with my Twizzlers.
To start out our fun day, we got pedicures.  Now isn't it summer with the lake and pedicures! I think so!It was a perfect family outing...but it HAD to be finished off with Pina Coladas at Tia Rosas with Julie and Jen and the little bros.
The big day of the farewell came and Kim did such a fabulous job!  I don't think I have ever laughed harder during a talk, but in a good way.  She has quite the sense of humor and I think she'll fit in perfect in Utah.  I sure love my Kimmy and I am so excited for her and this new adventure.  She is going to make a great missionary because she already is one in all she does.  Good luck Kimmy!

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
