S to the Ummer!

So these are some of my most fav people.  ^ Courtney and Christian.  I met Courtney one day at church randomly while she was visiting and it was love at first meeting.  You know how sometimes you make a friend and you connect instantly, well Court was one of those for me.  Christian has been a great friend too and he has more personality in his little finger than most do in their whole body.  He is a riot.
And these are two of my other favs...Chris and Jeremiah.  They lived at our complex and we had so much fun together this summer with all sorts of activities.  These were two of the boys I hung around most this summer.  My Georgia Peach and my California Sunshine!
This is our ward at 70's skate night.  Seriously...too much fun.  But me on skates is a dangerous combo, so I tried to cheer from the sidelines and stay off the floor.  It's more embarrassing than it's worth!
I hope this picture of our pool can do it justice.  Most of the summer (and even before it even started to get warm) we spent our time at the pool along with most of the other residents.  We would lounge in the chairs and Syrell and I would talk to anyone willing and I tell you, by the end of our pool sit, we had got our new acquaintances turned into best friends by prying out their life stories.  We were known to have "True Confessions" all the time at the pool.  This is a picture with us having a chicken fight and I may look small, but I must brag that I won the fights being on top and on bottom!  Thank you...Thank you!

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
