wedding bells for syrell

...From my window in the airplane. It was the most amazing view and it was so peaceful looking at all the nimbus and cumulus clouds...I just remembered those names from 9th grade science class and had to throw them in. Who knows what kinda clouds they were.
But it was so beautiful.
(I must admit that I imagined myself in "Saturday's Warrior").

My trip to AZ was for the anticipated wedding of Tate Ash and Syrell. They were so happy and they are truly two best friends. (Note: Syrell's veil was so classy and definitely ALL Syrell, check it out. She designed her dress too! The girl is amazing).
Taryn and I outside the temple. If it looks like we're sweating, it's because we were.
I do often forget how my love for Arizona is sometimes overshadowed (or overburned) by the intense temperatures.
At the reception with the most handsome guy there...Grandpa Salmon.
My lovely Aunt Dana ... I just have to show off my wonderful family.
Grandma Salmon is the classiest lady I know. I have to make a plug here for her and her cute style. Grandma has always been up on the latest fashions and anytime we go shopping, she always knows just what I need to be in style. And she is always right! If she says "Red high heels," I buy red high heels. I do miss Grandma and Grandpa while I'm miles away. Two of the most loving people on the earth.
Sarah, my cute sis, and I spent lots of quality time together this trip. I kinda trumped all her time even if she wanted to be doing anything else, but she never let it show. I'm glad Jake married such a good friend for me to have.
Victoria and Serena, my lovely friends from Utah were also there.
Oh, it was a fine night to be had!

simply stated: you can take the girl out of Arizona,
but you can't take Arizona and out of the girl.

The Latest...

Recently, I packed up my Western self and moved out East to a little place called Virginia. My parents relocated out here about 2 years ago, so it was time I check out VA for myself. It is in the DC metro area, so we spend lots of fun time in the city or in the country. I am still working as a pediatric nurse and looking to maybe move towards the non-profit or political side of health care. I gained a new family member in the form of a Chinese exchange student named Donna, and I love being with my parents again. Life is good.
